Events Privacy Policy
Thank you for choosing to participate in our events. Your privacy and the security of your personal data are of utmost importance to us at Degen Summit. This policy outlines how we handle the personal data you provide when registering for our events online.
Who Oversees Your Data?
All operations related to Degen Summit events, including the processing of event data, are supervised by our Head of Media.
Purpose of Data Collection and Processing
The personal data you submit during registration is used to effectively manage and organize our events. This includes managing invitation lists, generating reports, planning meetings, conducting follow-up activities, distributing news and publications, and conducting satisfaction surveys. This also applies to data collected via the Business 2 Bitcoin application.
During the event, we capture photos, videos, and audio for use in promoting the event and increasing awareness about our various initiatives.
Degen Summit may also use your personal data to contact you with newsletters, marketing, or promotional materials and other information that may be of interest to you. Additionally, we may share your information on a limited basis with event sponsors for planning and promotional purposes. If you prefer not to have your data used in this way, you can opt out by contacting us at contact@degensummit.com.

We collect the following registration data: your name, title, organization name, email address, postal address, country of residence, profession, job title, phone number, and fax number.
Photographic, audio, and video recordings are made at our events of both speakers and participants. Attendees may also be recorded. This material may be used in our publications, on our website, on social media, and distributed to the press to enhance event awareness. If you do not wish to have your image or voice recorded or published, please notify the conference organizers upon checking in at the event.
Who Has Access to Your Data?
Your personal data is accessed and processed solely by Degen Summit staff and approved contractors involved in organizing and managing our events. A list of participants, which includes titles, names, organizations/companies, and locations, may be shared with select sponsors. If you prefer to withhold your data from such lists, you can opt out by emailing contact@degensummit.com. Email addresses, collected for internal communication purposes, are not shared with sponsors or partners.
Occasionally, sponsors may request your personal data for promotions or giveaways. You will be asked for explicit consent before any personal data is shared with sponsors.
